2/17/2020 Donnie's Baptsim We had a great week this week Donnie got baptized! We also had 5 friends at church they are doing great. I really like all the people I get to work with. They have all been prepared and everything. The message I have is short, Love one another. I know that the best way to show your love is service. Service can be as simple as smiling at someone. God has commanded us to love one another, if we love one another we will feel the love that God has for them and for us, because we are showing Him that we want to take care of His flock. I want to invite you guys to serve someone that you might think is struggling that does not mean to ask them if they are struggling do it because you love them and they will pass it on.  I love you all I know that this week isn't anything super deep it is simple, that is because the Gospel is simple, we are commanded to love one another as He has loved us. 1/13/2020 Raking Leaves   One day Elder Harris and I were out visiting members and we had this impression to find someone who was raking leaves my first thought was that there was nobody out raking leaves. The next thing we know we hear someone raking leaves and we went and started talking to her. As we were talking to her we found out that her Husband passed away and had a lot of questions about what happened and why he left. We gave her a pamphlet to read, and then we visited her on Friday. When we went and visited her on Friday We talked about the plan of salvation, and she told us that it answered a lot of questions for her. We told her that families are Forever, and she really liked that. It brought her comfort that she would be able to live with him again. She said she would be baptized but she doesn't feel ready yet. 11/18/2019 Japanese Food? This week has been crazy, the title is just showing my confusion I come to Oklahoma and I am still getting Culture in my meals. A member in our branch feeds us and she is from Japan, so we must use Chopsticks and the food is DELICIOUS. The main thing I learned this week though is BE PATIENT. I know that by being patient we will be blessed. In the scriptures it says that if we are patient and submit happily than we will be blessed with the Love of Christ. 10/28/2019 Sell your soul to who? Well another week is gone, which is very sad. This past week was fun but also super hard. I heard this story about people selling their souls to the Devil, and I started thinking and turning the wheels in my head. I figured that in life Satan does want you to sell your soul to him, it makes a lot more sense about the Plan of Happiness now. God doesn't want us to sell our soul, he wants us to just submit to his will and he is letting us make mistakes. With Satan we can't make mistakes, if that was the case, life would be boring. I really think it is interesting because you must realize that Heavenly Father is our literal Father in Heaven. He wants us to succeed, He wants to see us graduate from life, and when he sees that we are dropping out of "school" he is very disappointed. Yes DISAPPOINTED. Hello Everyone, I want to let you know that I am having a blast. I am enjoying every single moment that I am having out here. I want to share my thoughts about missionaries, I am still in Woodward as you all know and in Woodward there is only me and my companion for missionaries. I have been praying that there would be more missionaries around me. I HAVE BEEN BLIND. We are all missionaries you do not need to have a badge to be a missionary. When we are baptized, we are still invited to follow Christ's example, even before we are baptized, we are invited to follow his example. Jesus Christ the best missionary there was did not have a badge. Member Missionaries DO A LOT. We are the ALL the Lord's servants, and there are times where the full-time missionaries cannot be there but the help that you Member missionaries bring is so helpful to the gathering of Israel. Hello everyone, this week has been very ghost town. Not many people here because the oil field has gone down. A lot of the people we were teaching have now left. But we have two little kids that will be getting baptized soon. I am very excited and happy for them. I love you all. I want to share what has been on my mind lately. The Book of Mormon, I want to share the power of the Book of Mormon. The power is life changing it is very powerful, please read it. I started the Book of Mormon over just a couple days ago my goal is to have it done by the 20th of November. I have already learned so much from it, the understanding that comes from it is indescribable. The biggest thing is your testimony grows. The scriptures are really a powerful tool. They should be used for power. I just know that God does love us he cares for us and wants us to succeed but sometimes you need to fall to succeed. I had another baptism yesterday, Woodward is Booming. 😂 I have enjoyed every minute of it here, I recently have hit 3 months, so I want to let you all know my testimony. I know that Heavenly Father loves you and me, I know that I am teaching the True and Everlasting Gospel. I know that this Church is true, I know that Heavenly Father wants to hear from us, I also know that He would not give us anything more then we can handle, I know that President Russell M. Nelson is our Prophet today and that he was called of God. I know that Joseph Smith was and is still a Prophet of God, I have studied and thought about all of these things and I know them to be true and much more, I know for sure though that Jesus Christ has gone through the Ultimate pain so that we don't have to.
