kids do the craziest things...

It's been great fun to have our friends the Newluns come over this summer Today Jashon was helping Kyle keep his balance on Tanis's ripstick. The things boy's will do for friendship they will even hold your hand.

As most of you know we are getting ready for a family reunion and in the process we are bringing things out of there hiding spots well it wasn't long before Andrew found the life vests and a tub full of water. He had a blast floating around the bathtub. (this was not staged Sam had walked in the bathroom and yelled for me to come see. And this is what we saw)

It's Blabbing day today!! Are they kidding me? A day I can just go on and on about nothing? (I bet they created this day for the children)LOL! So I found a brand of shoes that I absolutely love to look at. I have not worn or own a pair but would love to in the future. I just think paying more than $20 for a pair of shoes is crazy! And most of there shoes are $50+ These are one of my favorite!! But I haven't been able to find them cheaper than $89 that's a little steep.(I think) I will find them cheaper you just watch. They might be out of style by the time I can purchase them but I will have them. I love these too! I think I have a new hobby.. collecting shoes, now if I could only afford them. I have a couple of kids who have a difficult time channeling their Anger. So we are thinking of putting them into AKIDO (martial arts). Let it Snow!

Here are some pictures of our neighborhood. The kids have had a blast in the snow. Some of the kids comments ... Callie.."It's a miracle" Andrew.."I want to go play in it" (this being about 11p.m.) Brandon .. "I need water to build a snowman"(?) Kids..."It's cold outside" Being so cold outside it is great weather for soup! I used my soup making skills (lol) and tried my hand at French Onion Soup! It turned out very tasty! Next time we will brown the onions more and hopefully we will have the right types of cheese. But no complaints from the kids (surprising) I will definitely make this again. For recipe click here .
