The Mystery of a clean room

So the last couple of days I have been cleaning the basement. I have 1/4 of it almost completed starting with the laundry area, bathroom and under the stairs. I did the majority of the cleaning yesterday and so every chance I had today I found myself standing in the basement just admiring how much better it looks. I also noticed my kids going down to the basement for no reason (normally they start yelling and screaming if basement is even mentioned).
However the rest of the house is a mess and today Andrew had every game we owned out and in the middle of the frontroom within minutes.
***So the mystery is... when my kids like clutter. why are they drawn to clean rooms?***
Okay so normally I would not take pictures of my basement and I really should have before and after but just take my word for it you normally would not be able to walk off the stairs without walking on something. And just remember this is still a work in progress.

Look! No Laundry!!

I wish I had done that today ... I read and made jam. A clean basement would be nice.

It's Fircrest park ... I like it because there is a fence around the whole park, and there's a sandbox ... I think some people call it the Tot Lot ...

It's Blabbing day today!! Are they kidding me? A day I can just go on and on about nothing? (I bet they created this day for the children)LOL! So I found a brand of shoes that I absolutely love to look at. I have not worn or own a pair but would love to in the future. I just think paying more than $20 for a pair of shoes is crazy! Brandon Mull

Yesterday we had the Opportunity to meet the Author of FableHaven and CandyShop Wars Brandon Mull. When he got there he answered questions and was very personable. Then he started signing books and individually answered questions. He also had a few questions for us. He also signed posters for all the kids. (I have no idea what were going to do with 6 posters) (Maybe with the underlining message my kids will enjoy reading) The line was longer than we expected but we were there pretty early and had a chance to be 4th or 5th in line. (if my kids would have just got in line while I was taking kids potty) (I'm glad we got there when we did) Overall a great family (education) moment. (Yes, Mom I got your copy signed as well)
