First Day Jitters






The kids had there first day of school today. They were so excited they woke up at 6:30a.m. and ready by 7:30a.m. (backpacks and everything) So at 8:00a.m. we piled into the car and dropped Tasha and Kyle off they weren't to excited about there mom taking pictures of them. (I guess it isn't cool!) We came back home for half an hour to waste some time before piling in the car a second time and dropping off Brandon, Cody and Callie. We stayed to make sure Callie got into class alright and then we went down the hall and yanked Cody out of class to go to the Dentist. I know you are thinking to yourself what kind of mom schedules a Dentist appointment the first day of school. I am hopeful that everyday will be as easy to get the kids ready as today turned out to be.

Hey I say if you take the kids to the dentist regardless of the day you are one step above most parents. Your kids are so cute I just want to pinch Tasha's and Kyle's cheeks that is so cute to let their mommy take pictures of them. You should of got a picture of kissing them goodbye. That would of been awesome.

It's Blabbing day today!! Are they kidding me? A day I can just go on and on about nothing? (I bet they created this day for the children)LOL! So I found a brand of shoes that I absolutely love to look at. I have not worn or own a pair but would love to in the future. I just think paying more than $20 for a pair of shoes is crazy! And most of there shoes are $50+ These are one of my favorite!! But I haven't been able to find them cheaper than $89 that's a little steep.(I think) I will find them cheaper you just watch. I have a couple of kids who have a difficult time channeling their Anger. So we are thinking of putting them into AKIDO (martial arts). My last trip to Albertson's turned out to be the best! Yes, I know you are sick of me posting about shopping but I had a few of you ask.. How I do it? I ended up spending $1.77 for what you see in the picture. You ask how? Albertson's Ad had two double coupon certificates in their ad where they would double up to 3 manufacture coupons per certificate. There are a few sites I continuously go to print off coupons they are... Betty Crocker Coupon Cat Pillsbury Albertson's had a sale when you bought $30 worth of certain items you would get 3 $5 dollar coupons for your next purchase. I grouped all my coupons together to try to get the best deal I could. The first time I purchased it actually cost me $17 something but I had $15 for a next purchase. The trick was to get 6 $1 coupons which equaled $12 +$15=$27 ....out of pocket=$3 and then 3 more $5 coupons would print out and you beg your neighbor friends or anyone you can for more double coupons and go back I pretty much lived ...

Brandon Mull

Yesterday we had the Opportunity to meet the Author of FableHaven and CandyShop Wars Brandon Mull. When he got there he answered questions and was very personable. Then he started signing books and individually answered questions. He also had a few questions for us. He also signed posters for all the kids. (I have no idea what were going to do with 6 posters) (Maybe with the underlining message my kids will enjoy reading) The line was longer than we expected but we were there pretty early and had a chance to be 4th or 5th in line. (if my kids would have just got in line while I was taking kids potty) (I'm glad we got there when we did) Overall a great family (education) moment. (Yes, Mom I got your copy signed as well)
