Field Trip

This was actually alot of fun. We walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus(city bus). When we arrived at Albertsons they asked the kids about the foods they eat and what foods are everyday foods and what foods are sometimes foods and when they showed them the candybar there were a few kids that shouted everyday foods.

This first picture is of Callie eating a piece of star fruit.
I don't think she liked it.
They also gave them a piece of wheat bread.
Where is this girls mother? Really you think she would have better manners than this.

They had the kids make tortilla rollups with ham and cheese.

Then it was off to the soy milk

lucky for us it was Chocolate flavored.

The Children seemed to enjoy it.

Hey kids do you want to pet a lobster or fish?

They had all the kids pick out a box of healthy cereal

Off to the checkout stand

I feel sorry for the one who has to put all the cereal back on the shelf.

Say Cheese!

We are waiting at the bus stop for the next bus.

The bus was so crowded that while I was standing I looked over to my left and there was a crazy man giving me the eye.

Now really can't you see I have a wedding ring.

How funny, I found your blog from Teri's, because my son, and Colby are on the same t-ball team, but it looks like you are in Mrs. Dolan's morning class. Hunter is in afternoon, and we went on the same field trip a few weeks ago. I actually have almost the same exact post and pictures, you should check it out. How funny.

It's Blabbing day today!! Are they kidding me? A day I can just go on and on about nothing? (I bet they created this day for the children)LOL! So I found a brand of shoes that I absolutely love to look at. I have not worn or own a pair but would love to in the future. I just think paying more than $20 for a pair of shoes is crazy! My last trip to Albertson's turned out to be the best! Yes, I know you are sick of me posting about shopping but I had a few of you ask.. How I do it? I ended up spending $1.77 for what you see in the picture. You ask how? Albertson's Ad had two double coupon certificates in their ad where they would double up to 3 manufacture coupons per certificate. There are a few sites I continuously go to print off coupons they are... Betty Crocker Coupon Cat Pillsbury Albertson's had a sale when you bought $30 worth of certain items you would get 3 $5 dollar coupons for your next purchase. I grouped all my coupons together to try to get the best deal I could. The first time I purchased it actually cost me $17 something but I had $15 for a next purchase. The trick was to get 6 $1 coupons which equaled $12 +$15=$27 ....out of pocket=$3 and then 3 more $5 coupons would print out and you beg your neighbor friends or anyone you can for more double coupons and go back I pretty much lived ...

Brandon Mull

Yesterday we had the Opportunity to meet the Author of FableHaven and CandyShop Wars Brandon Mull. When he got there he answered questions and was very personable. Then he started signing books and individually answered questions. He also had a few questions for us. He also signed posters for all the kids. (I have no idea what were going to do with 6 posters) (Maybe with the underlining message my kids will enjoy reading) The line was longer than we expected but we were there pretty early and had a chance to be 4th or 5th in line. (if my kids would have just got in line while I was taking kids potty) (I'm glad we got there when we did) Overall a great family (education) moment. (Yes, Mom I got your copy signed as well)
