Schools Out

It's official School is out! Time to gather our Chiclets for some summer fun! Or in our case summer chirpping (arguing) mostly out of bordom but I think I have a plan this year. What do you think about locking them in the basement? They would have a bathroom, our food storage is down there so they would have food, they would have activities like laundry, and best of all the upstairs would stay clean. Okay maybe not the best Idea. Maybe we will just live at the parks this summer.

I am so happy that I have Colby home from school, maybe you can ask me in a couple weeks if I still think that, But for now I am so excited.

Holy moly, it has only been like three days since I have been on your blog and you have done the activities that most people do in a summer in those few days. Maybe I need to go to the gym if you have that much energy.

My last trip to Albertson's turned out to be the best! Yes, I know you are sick of me posting about shopping but I had a few of you ask.. How I do it? I ended up spending $1.77 for what you see in the picture. You ask how? I'm Tired!

As a parent we are usually the first ones to hear if there is a complaint or a problem. My kids tend to voice their opinions frequently to me or anyone that will listen. We have tried different methods to curve their behavior with no victory. We have also taken parenting classes watched love and logic videos, watched our share of the Nanny. Yet we were still coming up short. Our biggest problem was finding a privileged that could be taken away. Last week I was reading my Sister in-laws blog and she was telling of how she uses bedtime as a privileged. So We have adopted this concept into our daily life and it seems to be making an impact on my kids. We have a chart with the days of the week and we give our children the opportunity to stay up a half hour after bedtime if they can get through the day without getting their initial written on the chart. Best 9 months of my Life!!

Rely on whom you trust. 3/23/2020 Good afternoon, it has been an interesting week. Missionaries are quarantined but that is ok nothing will stop the work of the Lord. I just want to leave you all with a little comfort and that is God loves you and He has a plan. There is no need to worry. Who are we told to put our trust in? There is a force that is there to bring us peace and comfort. God does not forsake us. If you have wondered if there is a God, the answer is yes, I know this to be true. You can too, by kneeling and praying and asking God you will know. We may not know the plan, but God has one and he is ready to help us, but we need to be willing to take it. Accept his love and his plan and do the things He has asked us to do. I love you all and know that there is a plan and know that we will come out of this together and be much stronger as people and those who believe in Him.
